Do we need a permit to elope in Arizona?
It depends on the location. Places like the Grand Canyon, Sedona's red rocks, Antelope Canyon, and Saguaro National Park require a permit, and if yours does, I'll help you apply for it well ahead of your date.
How do we get a marriage license in Arizona?
You'll both need to appear in person at any Arizona county clerk's office with valid photo ID. There's no waiting period and no residency requirement, so you can get married the same day if needed, no matter where in the state you're eloping.
What's the best time of year to elope in Arizona?
Spring and fall bring the most comfortable temperatures across most of the state, especially February through April and late September through November. Summer can still work in higher-elevation spots like Flagstaff, or if you plan around sunrise or sunset in the desert.
